I started the project with a very detailed cover idea that included several images and design elements. The designer created a version based on my concept, but seeing it professionally arranged made me realize that it was too busy. We gradually removed unnecessary elements and gave the title more room. The final design is much simpler than what I originally imagined, but it communicates the book better.

The writing team helped me turn those pieces into a proper outline and worked through the chapters with me. I liked that they asked questions whenever something wasn’t clear instead of filling in the gaps themselves. One chapter went in the wrong direction and had to be rewritten, which added some time. Still, the final manuscript feels much more complete. It has structure now, but it still contains the stories and ideas that made me want to write the book.
